NeuTab N7S Pro Review

Last Updated on March 29, 2020

It’s not easy to find a decent tablet that won’t burn a hole in your budget these days (the average selling price in 2016 is 9% higher than in 2015). Most cheap tablets are cheap for a reason – they’re not very good. On the other hand, powerful household names like Apple and Samsung seem to have overtaken the market with their (over)priced products, which makes the process of looking for a decent and affordable tablet to buy a daunting and time-consuming task, to say the least.

Luckily there are a few good, budget-friendly alternatives. We are not talking about top-notch tablets here, but it is definitely possible to get a decent deal if you look hard enough. NeuTab N7s Pro W7’’ Quad Core Android 5.1 Lollipop might just be what the tablet market’s been missing and here is our review of this device.

Aesthetics and Exterior

There are currently two versions of NeuTab N7s Pro – a white and a black one. This might be an unimportant detail to some of you, but it’s always nice to have two colors to choose. The N7s Pro W comes neatly packaged, along with a user manual, a screen protector, a USB charger, a DC-5V charging cable and a micro USB cable for charging and sync.

N7s Pro W looks simple and elegant and feels good in the hand – however, holding it becomes uncomfortable after a while, even though its fairly light, because of the tablet’s insubstantial plastic build.

Hardware and Software

The 7 inch display is colourful and bright, but has narrow viewing angles. Quad-Core 1.2 GHz processor is enough for more than decent performance, but the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system is what gives this device a nice final touch, regarding its overall performance.

Good battery life of 5 hours is a pleasant surprise, given the price range. 1 GB RAM isn’t top of the line and low storage (8 GB) might hurt your overall experience, but it does come with a micro SD slot so you can greatly expand the storage at low cost, so that’s definitely another pro. Bluetooth support is another thing that will attract many users.

Low Budget Android Tablet - Neutab N7 Pro Review

Conclusion: Budget-friendly, but nothing spectacular

Now, let’s break it down even further and look at the complete list of pros and cons of the NeuTab N7s Pro W7’’ Quad Core Android 5.1 Lollipop tablet.

Pros

  • Decent battery life
  • Good processor
  • Micro SD slot
  • Bluetooth support
  • Price

Cons

  • Fragile plastic build
  • Low system memory

NeuTab N7s Pro W7’’ Quad Core Android 5.1 Lollipop is a decent mobile device and perhaps the best within the price range, but it is nothing to write home about and definitely not a spectacular tablet by any means. It is perfect for users who are budget conscious and don’t need a powerful machine. N7s Pro W7’’ is great for everyday use, however, it would be unrealistic to expect high performance, because of relatively low-end specs.
